Ensifer‘s Jan Chodkiewicz is well-known for over a decade of high quality blades and excellent craftsmanship. He founded Fechstchule Gdańsk in 2002 with fencing instructor Długi Mieczem. His teacher for blacksmithing was Gdańsk Master of Blacksmith Remigiusz Bystrka, who, in turn, was educated at the well-known Gdańsk smith Franciszek Zulewski and Christoph Friedrich from Switzerland.
